25 November 2018 | Oostenrijk, Kufstein
Now some good news, the first snow has fallen in Kufstein! It is not a lot, but at least some snow is here. Happy to finally see some snow again, this was one of the reasons why I wanted to go to Kufstein. Also, I still have many different classes, and they are all going well. Even though there are differences compared to the Netherlands. Here in Kufstein we have to present almost every class. The classes start with some general information and explanation, then you get some time to work on it, and finally you have to present it. The classes are a bit more interactive compared to the Hanze, where you mostly listen to the teacher for 1.5 hours and learn this for your exam.
On November the 24th we had our third and last excursion, this time towards Salzburg. I had also visited this place with my parents, but this time we went to different attractions. We went to several museums, such as the Salzburg Cathedral and the Mozart Residence. There was a Christmas market in Salzburg, so we also visited this again. On these Christmas markets people mostly drink Glühwein, and you can enjoy many Austrian delicacies. By picking the course Austrian Culture and History, I got to see so many different Austrian cities and gives you an idea about the history of the country. I really like it that this course is being offered, as you get a lot of knowledge from the country you are currently living in. Upcoming week I will be very busy as I will finish multiple courses, and I have many exams and presentations.
